I have my shopping done - thank God, because seriously the Target parking lot is packed all the time these days. I'm also half way done wrapping everything up, and putting it under our insane tree...
This is the 7 and 1/2 footer my MIL dropped off yesterday - it's the biggest tree I have ever had! (Yes the picture is crooked, I couldn't get far enough away to take it!)
This year I am like a 5 year old counting down the days to Christmas expecting Santa to deliver something awesome. This is so not like me. Maybe it's because it's our first Christmas in our house, or maybe it's because today mark exactly THREE months until we get married or maybe it's because Mike just turns into a kid around this holiday and it's rubbing off on me, either way I like it!
So, if you haven't gotten your shopping done, and you have a "foodie" you need to shop for, here are my suggestions:
1. A MISTO - this thing turns your olive oil into a spray - I'm obsessed. Bonus that they are under $20! Find them here
2. A silpat mat - think of this as reusable parchment paper - everyone needs one if they bake! Again, under $20 - find them here.
3. A cake pop maker - so that they don't have to struggle as horribly as I did to make cake pops - find them here. These run more in the $50 range.
4. Anything from crate and barrel - like these Christmas platters (both under $20) that are so stinking cute I'm considering going there today just to buy them! Find them here.
They will love any of those options - I promise!
