I know what you are thinking… it’s not the right time of year for a pumpkin recipe. Well, technically, you’re right. But, I was craving it – so I’m posting this protein shake I came up with anyway. This makes for a great breakfast!
Yield: 1 serving
Total Time: 5 minutes
1/4 cup of pumpkin pie filling
1 individual size vanilla yogurt - I used one thing of Activia
1/2 cup of milk - I used soymilk
1 frozen banana
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
A few shakes of pumpkin pie spice
A few shakes of ground cloves
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Top with brown sugar and a few pecans!
