Training Week 7
Week SIX of my training program is complete and I can hardly believe how quickly it has gone by! I have gone from only being able to only run for 1 minute at a time to running another big milestone – 5 miles! Erica and I got a little ambitious and threw out our 4.5 mile run and opted for a 5 miler. I can’t even begin to tell you how good it felt and how freaking PROUD I was of us! It was my first 5 mile run ever and Erica’s first 5 mile run post baby. We had big smiles on our faces the rest of the day!
Next week, we have 11 miles to run!
Today I am going to enjoy my rest day – my back is hurting a bit. I’m also going to find a foam roller and a water bottle with a hand strap!
