Half Marathon Training: Week 2

First week of training is complete and the truth is that today I am SORE. My thighs are killing me and my IT bands are really unhappy. I am foam rolling, foam rolling and foam rolling some more.

My husband has joked about me turning into an old lady overnight, because every chance I get I find a place to sit down and take the pressure off my legs.

Yesterday was our 4 mile run for the week and our first run with Anne! We ended up running on the track at my old high school. Ah, memories… of not being able to run more than two laps.

I left feeling pretty good about myself - having run 4 miles on that track that used to give me nightmares.
